These vases start as wheel thrown cylinders that are shaped and altered when wet. Then slab bottoms, hand sculptured and textured handles and feet are added. Intricate slip trailing varies on each individual shape and is enhanced by breaking glazes. Although I work in series to make these pieces, each one is different.
